Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to the Gatisetu website and to transportation or logistics services provided by Gatisetu Integrated Supply Chain Pvt. Ltd. ("Gatisetu"). They should be read together with any quotation, rate confirmation, purchase order, work order or other commercial terms agreed in writing for a specific movement or service. If a written commercial agreement contains different terms for that service, the specific written agreement will prevail to that extent.

1. About Gatisetu and Website Use

Gatisetu provides B2B transportation and logistics support, including Full Truck Load (FTL), Contract Logistics, Adhoc/On-Demand transportation, Cold Chain Logistics and Green EV Logistics. Vehicles may be arranged through independent transport vendors, fleet owners and market vehicles.

The website may be used for service enquiries, contact requests, partner interest and career applications. Users must provide accurate information and must not use the website for unlawful activity, spam, malicious files, false representation, unauthorised access or any activity that may disrupt the website or another person.

2. Enquiries, Quotations and Service Confirmation

Submitting a website form, email, WhatsApp message or other enquiry does not itself confirm a booking, partnership or employment. A transport service is confirmed only after Gatisetu accepts the requirement and the applicable vehicle, route, schedule, rate and commercial conditions are agreed.

Availability and pricing may depend on the pickup and delivery locations, route, goods, load, vehicle type/body type, schedule, market conditions, permits and other operational requirements.

3. Transportation Services and Vehicle Arrangement

Gatisetu coordinates transportation requirements between customers and independent vehicle owners, drivers, fleet operators or transport vendors. The actual movement may therefore be performed by an independent service provider arranged through Gatisetu.

Gatisetu will make reasonable efforts to coordinate reporting, movement and delivery, but transit may be affected by traffic, weather, breakdowns, road restrictions, strikes, accidents, government action, loading/unloading delays and similar operational events.

4. Customer Responsibilities

• Provide correct pickup, delivery, cargo, weight, quantity, value and vehicle requirements.
• Provide valid invoice, e-way bill, permit, challan and any other document required for lawful movement.
• Ensure suitable packing, labelling and safe loading/unloading unless these activities are specifically agreed as part of the service.
• Keep the shipment ready at the agreed time and promptly communicate route, quantity, schedule or delivery changes.
• Do not offer illegal, prohibited, hazardous, dangerous, stolen or otherwise unauthorised goods for transportation.

Gatisetu may refuse or stop a movement where goods or documentation appear unsafe, illegal, materially misdeclared or non-compliant.

5. Prohibited & Restricted Goods

Customers must accurately declare the commodity, quantity, weight, value, packaging, temperature requirement and any hazardous or regulated characteristics before vehicle confirmation. The following category-based list reflects common Indian logistics and transport restrictions; individual products may be regulated differently by law, route, quantity or vehicle type.

Prohibited / not accepted by Gatisetu:

• Illegal goods, contraband, stolen goods, counterfeit or pirated goods, and goods whose possession or movement is prohibited by law.
• Illegal drugs, narcotics, psychotropic substances and controlled substances moved without lawful authority.
• Firearms, ammunition, prohibited weapons, weapon parts and military/munitions items without specific lawful authorisation.
• Explosives, detonators, blasting materials, fireworks and similar explosive articles.
• Dangerous or hazardous goods requiring specialist dangerous-goods carriage, including flammable gases or liquids, flammable solids, self-reactive or water-reactive substances, oxidisers, organic peroxides, toxic or infectious substances, radioactive material, corrosives and other regulated dangerous goods.
• Hazardous waste, biomedical waste, toxic industrial waste, radioactive waste or other controlled waste not permitted for ordinary road transport.
• Any commodity prohibited by a Central, State or local law, court order, police/security direction, transport authority, environmental authority or other competent government authority.

Restricted / prior written review required: Gatisetu must be informed before vehicle placement, and acceptance is subject to service capability, documentation and written confirmation.

• Cash, currency, negotiable instruments, bullion, jewellery, precious stones, precious metals, antiques, fine art and exceptionally high-value cargo.
• Non-hazardous chemicals, industrial liquids, oils, paints, adhesives, cleaning agents, powders and similar commodities that may require an SDS/MSDS, special packaging or spill controls.
• Batteries, battery-powered equipment and electronics, including lithium-ion or lithium-metal batteries, where dangerous-goods classification or special handling may apply.
• Compressed-gas cylinders, aerosols, petroleum products, fuel-bearing equipment and machinery containing or previously containing fuel; these are not accepted as ordinary cargo and require compliance review.
• Food, beverages, dairy, frozen/chilled products, meat/seafood and other perishables requiring hygienic, insulated, refrigerated or temperature-controlled transport.
• Medicines, pharmaceuticals, vaccines, medical devices, biological samples and healthcare cargo requiring temperature control, licences, chain-of-custody or other regulatory conditions.
• Live animals, livestock, birds, fish, plants, seeds or agricultural material where welfare, quarantine, permit or specialised-vehicle requirements apply.
• Human remains, ashes, organs, tissue or other human biological material, which require specialist legal and handling arrangements and are not accepted as normal freight.
• Oversized, over-dimensional, overweight, project or abnormal cargo requiring route surveys, escorts, permits, cranes or specialised trailers.
• Machinery, vehicles or equipment with oil, fuel, batteries, pressure vessels, sharp projections or other special securing/handling risks.
• Goods requiring special temperature, humidity, ventilation, contamination control, tamper protection, security escort, sealed vehicle, dedicated handling or controlled access.
• Alcohol, tobacco/nicotine products, pesticides, fertilisers, chemicals, pharmaceuticals or any other licensed/controlled commodity where movement depends on valid permits, invoices, licences or State-specific requirements.
• E-waste, scrap, used batteries and other regulated waste/material streams requiring lawful documentation and authorised handling.
• Any cargo whose nature, packaging, documentation, value or legal status creates an unusual safety, security, insurance or regulatory requirement.

Customer declaration: The customer must disclose the exact commodity and provide the invoice, e-way bill, permits, SDS/MSDS, licence, packing declaration or other documents required for lawful transport. Any website information or automated response is only general guidance and does not constitute cargo acceptance.

Gatisetu may refuse, cancel, unload or stop a movement if goods are prohibited, unsafe, undeclared, materially misdeclared or outside the agreed service scope. Any resulting cost, penalty or loss arising from incorrect or incomplete cargo declaration may be charged to the responsible customer to the extent permitted by law.

6. Rates, Additional Charges and Taxes

Rates are based on the agreed service, route, vehicle, load, schedule and commercial terms. Unless specifically included in writing, loading/unloading labour is not included. Waiting, detention, toll, permit, route-change, additional-kilometre, night-movement or other operational charges may apply as commercially agreed. Applicable taxes will be charged as required.

7. Payment Terms

Unless a different written commercial agreement applies, the normal payment terms are:

• FTL: advance payment.
• Adhoc/On-Demand: payment after trip completion.
• Dedicated Fleet / Contract Logistics: within 7 working days from the bill date.

Overdue undisputed amounts may attract interest at 1.5% per month and may result in a temporary service hold or recovery action.

8. Cancellation, Waiting and Detention

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, cancellation after vehicle confirmation may attract a charge of 25% of the base transportation cost. Additional actual costs may be charged where the vehicle has already reported, travelled to the pickup point or incurred committed expenses. Free waiting time, detention rates and other time-based charges will be as per the agreed commercial terms.

9. Delivery Timelines and Force Majeure

Reporting and delivery times are estimates unless a specific service commitment is agreed in writing. Gatisetu is not responsible for failure or delay caused by events reasonably beyond its control, including severe weather, floods, fire, accidents, road closures, strikes, riots, government restrictions, transport bans, breakdowns, network failures, epidemics/pandemics or comparable events. Gatisetu will nevertheless make reasonable efforts to coordinate an operational solution.

10. Cargo Insurance, Loss, Damage and Claims

Cargo/transit insurance is the customer's responsibility unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing. Any visible shortage, damage or delivery exception should be recorded on the Proof of Delivery (POD) at the time of delivery and reported promptly with supporting documents, photographs and invoice details.

Gatisetu will provide reasonable coordination and assistance for a genuine claim, but does not guarantee settlement by a transporter, insurer or other third party. Any liability accepted by Gatisetu will be only to the extent required by applicable law or expressly agreed in writing. Gatisetu will not be responsible for indirect or consequential business loss, loss of profit, opportunity or goodwill except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.

11. Vendor and Partner Enquiries

The Become a Partner form is an interest form only. It does not create a partnership, agency, employment relationship, vehicle deployment guarantee, load allocation commitment or fixed business volume. If discussions proceed, Gatisetu may separately request verification, vehicle, driver, tax, KYC, payment or other business documents.

Any onboarded vendor or vehicle provider must keep information and documents accurate, maintain roadworthy vehicles, use appropriately licensed drivers, comply with applicable transport and safety requirements and maintain professional conduct. Gatisetu may suspend or discontinue an engagement for fraud, unsafe practices, false information, repeated service failure or material breach of agreed terms.

12. Career Applications

A career application does not guarantee an interview, selection or employment. Applicants should provide accurate information and only documents they are authorised to share. Applications may be reviewed, shortlisted, retained or deleted according to recruitment needs and the Privacy Policy.

13. Website Forms and Personal Information

Customer, Contact, Partner and Career forms collect information relevant to the request being submitted. Career forms may also receive a resume. Google reCAPTCHA is used to reduce automated and abusive submissions. Information submitted through the website is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

14. Intellectual Property and Third-Party Services

The Gatisetu name, logo, website design, text, graphics and other original website materials belong to Gatisetu or are used with permission. They may not be copied or commercially reused without permission. The website may contain links or integrations operated by third parties; those services are governed by their own terms and policies.

15. Changes, Governing Law and Jurisdiction

Gatisetu may update these Terms & Conditions when its website, services or legal requirements change. The latest version will be posted here with an updated date.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Unless another jurisdiction is agreed in writing for a specific commercial arrangement, disputes relating to the website or services will be subject to the courts at Thane, Maharashtra.
